Water Particle Counting System (WPCS)

The IBR Water Particle Counting System (WPCS) represents a breakthrough technology for particle counters in the water treatment industry.

With resolution of 5% or less at 10µm and 9% or less at 2µm, the IBR400 sensor does not require count matching. Individual calibration to ASTM F658, combined with high resolution optics, ensures count correlation. This eliminates the need to change calibration points in order to force counters to match.

The WPCS includes other features to ensure accurate, reliable particle counts. The exclusive integral flow monitor ensures an accurate particle count concentration built directly into the microprocessor of the unit. Local display at each station allows for flow calibrations, diagnostics, analog values and particle counts. Even the constant head device is uniquely designed by placing back pressure on the sensor and thus eliminating air bubbles from being counted as particulate

IBR also offers a WPCS-EX version, which represents another breakthrough in water particle counting technology by keeping the sample flow path completely outside of the enclosure that houses the particle counter electronics.


The IBR WPCS-EX-II's sensor is outside of the watertight enclosure that houses the counter electronics, keeping water away from delicate electronics.
